See below: These cysts are easily taken care of in most cases by a minor procedure called and incision and drainage. The cyst is numbed with a local anesthetic and then a small cut is made with a scalpel to drain the cyst. Usually there is a capsule to the cyst which is pulled out through the small opening. It is a simple procedure that most doctor knows how to do and do in the office.  Surgery sometimes.

Often they can have bacterial infections and inflammation causing pain. Should see md to insure it is not a boil or actual infection rather than cyst. May need antibiotics and drainage or removal.
