No: There is no cure for diabetes 2 yet.  There are a few treatment options though, including some advanced procedures.  The most widely used & successful treatment is medications and/or insulin.  However, procedures like pancreas transplant and stem cell therapy may be used in very select cases.  The best way to avoid diabetic complications is strict diet & exercise - decrease blood sugar & pressure.

No, yes: There is no cure. Yes you can control it with proper diet (no added sugar, limiting carbohydrates), exercise, losing weight, lowering blood pressure. For some, this is enough but most people require medication.

Diet, weight loss: Impaired fasting glucose is a warning sign that you are at risk of diabetes. Typically, being overweight or eating a high carb diet can exacerbate this problem. If there is a family history of diabetes, that also increases your risk.  Weight control is essential, and you should minimize carbs and sugars like soda, alcohol, bread, pasta, rice, and desserts.  Regular exercise is also beneficial.

Moment in time: Diabetes doesn't go away. Each blood sugar represents a moment in time. Even when patients are in stellar control, there can still be variability in the blood sugar so that some are high and some are low.

Stress: Sometimes when diabetic patients undergo stress (prolonged exercise for example) stress hormones (cortisol and adrenalin) can increase glucose. However it is still important for him to follow up with his doctor because it does not appear that the exercise he did was particularly stressful.  In general patients with type 2 diabetes experience hypoglycemia (low sugar) in response to exercise.

Sorghum: It digests slower, slowing the rise of serum glucose, therefore allowing for better control of diabetes. While this benefit is small, sorghum also has the bonus of being gluten-free, and it grows well in drought conditions.

Type II diabetes: There is a strong heritable component of diabetes, especially type ii. I don't know what symptoms you are currently experiencing, but the classic ones are polyuria, polydipsia, nocturia, and polyphagia. If you have symptoms, you should be screened with a hemoglobin a1c blood test or fasting plasma glucose test; especially if you are obese, or have additional risk factors besides family history.

i heard that there is a surgery for type 2 diabetes in turkey& 7 other countries which cure it 100%.what is it ?
my mom have high hba1c&normal weight

New pancreas: There are actually a few surgeries that help to control, but only one to reverse diabetes to normal.  It is usually used for type one diabetes only.  The best control is still to lower your carbohydrate intake and lose weight
