Many things.: It can detect many conditions. Ct is particulaly good at detecting bleeding in the acute setting and hydrocephalus, and some masses. It's not nearly as good as MRI for looking at small structures and white matter disease. Both ct and MRI are usually more sensetive and specific when contrast is given.

Depends : Calcification can give an idea of an intracranial aneurysm, but contrast study is essential for a complete study and the amount of contrast used in ct imaging of the brain is small.

No Worries: The radiation from 1 head ct does not measurably increase your risk of cancer in the future.

The radiation was no where near your testicles, and even if it was, there is no measurable risk for birth defects in children.

Finally, the contrast was eliminated from your body within 24 hours, assuming no kidney problems.

: Not going to develop cancer because of CT. Can’t really predict the future but highly unlikely you will develop cancer because of a CT. Risks are low.

Why do you worry?: Cat scan is adequate to demonstrate even a modest size lesion, and seems reassuring.  Yet, you remain focused and perhaps doubtful.  Urge you contact a counselor and explore the underlying causes of your persistent concerns.  Actually brain tumors are quite uncommon.

: It is not feasible to provide an opinion without additional history, physical examination may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor to see if you may be depressed. Depression is treatable. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water. Wish you good health!
