Coffee/caffeine: 2 to 3 cups of coffee is a bit much for anyone. Caffeinated soda, tea or coffee all cause short term increase in alertness and attention, but all also cause side effects, like increased heart rate and insomnia. Caffeine is addictive, and once addicted, it can feel pretty bad for several days--fatigue, headaches, etc.  Be careful and don't overdo on any caffeinated beverage.

can coffee (or caffeine) cause or worsen acne? i always had acne even after puberty (1-3 new acne before my period) , but i started drinking coffee 1x/day (black, no sugar, milk, or cream or milk) and its worse now. would drinking decaf prevent it?

: Unlikely.
Little evidence shows that ingestion of particular foods can trigger acne flares.  Acne flares, about 1 week prior to menstruation, have been experienced in 25-50% of women with mild acne.

No effect: Cream modifies the taste and most find coffee too harsh to use without the cream. It does add extra calories and to the extent that coffee ingestion is a calorie free item, this changes that fact.  While the benefits of coffee are under some dispute, the addition of cream does not change whatever properties coffee contains.

Yes - don't waste it: Certainly letting food or drinks sit for a while may raise the question of 'is it safe to eat or drink'...  3 hours is considered a negligible length of time in my book, so drink up!  I wouldn't waste your well earned money by tossing it...

Not really: If you start out with a cup of coffee and add a cup of milk and then drink the whole thing, you have still drank a whole cup of coffee.  It only works if you add less coffee and make up the difference by adding milk.

Cream: Coffee mate contains "partially hydrogenated fats" -- meaning there can be some unhealthy trans fats in what you put in your coffee. If the amount is .5g/serving or less, the company is allowed to say "0" trans fats is in its product even though this is not exactly true. If you take more than 1 serving, you're exposed for sure. You can try coconut, almond, or soy milk instead if lactose sensitive.
