Accepted Answer

Stop the cream: Most such creams tend to irritate the skin and even induce peeling.  You need to either dilute it . Use it less frequently, or stop using it altogether.

i keep feeling crawling sensations throughout my body. is this a sign of worms/parasites?

Formication: The sensation of crawling is well defined in the medical literature and it is not the sign of worms or parasites (delusional parasitosis).  Please talk to your physician about this condition.

took 2 doses cednifir for sinusitis.  have tingling/ prickling/crawling sensations on top of my head.  is this normal?does it mean it's working or not

No: Regardless of the mechanism for your symptoms, you should stop it and ask your doctor to provide a substitute since there are several even better options for treating sinusitis.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated.  Wish you good health!

Pruritis: Generalized itching of skin without a rash can occur with excessive dryness of the skin but may be seen in conditions like allergies, liver or kidney disease, hyperthyroidism or diabetes. Your physician or dermatologist can order the appropriate tests if significant itching persists. Antihistamine medications can relieve pruritis.

i have severe pain in my neck and face.  also crawling sensations?

Emergency?: If the pain is truly severe and unbearable I am concerned for you, especially if the pain in your neck is limiting the motion of your neck. It sounds like you could have a nerve impingement and am wondering if this is bad enough for you to be seen in an emergency department tonight?? If not, please be seen first thing by your primary care doctor in the morning as these symptoms are concerning.

post chronic lithium toxicity and withdrawal left me with terrible crawling sensations all over my body. is it temporary and is there a treatment?

Unfortunately: I can't be terribly encouraging about this. Typically with chronic lithium poisoning there is a large body burden of lithium that is difficult to treat. Often this discovered with time or a new medication that alters kidney function or causes dehydration, causing the lithium level to rise. The symptoms you describe are not unusual. Treatment is symptomatic as for other peripheral neuropathies.

im having occasional crawling sensations in what seems like the veins in my feet. but when i look to see what it is, i dont see anything. ?

Restless legs?: Restless Leg Syndrome is categorized as a sleep disorder but can occur during the day as well.  Your symptoms and a normal physical exam are typical. Lifestyle treatments include improving sleep with a regular sleep schedule; daily exercise; stretching; reduction of caffeine, tobacco, alcohol; relaxation techniques including yoga or meditation. See your doctor for diagnosis and other therapies.

for 2 years or more now whenever i lay down, both of my calves get strange but painless crawling sensations and twitches. i can actually see some of the twitches. i'm worried because googling this says ms. could this be restless leg syndrome?

: I believe that you're describing benign fasciculation syndrome where muscle twitches are seen &amp; felt in thighs and calves while at rest but not when up&amp; about. This is different from the continual more fine muscle fibrillations seen in the serious disorder,ALS.  For verification I recommend that you consult a neurologist.

what is the pain on my left side just under the left breast upper rib, chest tightness & like crawling sensations sometimes sharp?

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. If you gained weight recently , losing weight would help.  If that is not relevant it would be prudent to see your doctor.
