False Positive: Most tests done in motion are less than 100% accurate. Also there are certain drugs you might be taking that can cause a test that shows positive for amphetamines. Certain cold medicines particularly Sudafed would test positive for amphetamines.

Drug reaction: Refractory anemia has no impact on your  question. the medications you mention usually used for migraine..any medications in the world have side effects to small percentage of the patients and the majority usually benefit from the medications. if you are afraid of the side effects, you may not be able to use any medications at all

Starting during the first year of life, they have profound and life-long transfusion-dependent anemia, large liver/spleen , and skeletal deformities due to bone marrow expansion; they are prone to infection and skeletal fractures and, unless appropriately treated, die during adolescence of iron overload syndromes.

Yes: Anemia is low blood count.  The most common form is due to low iron ingestion but other forms include blood loss, inherited changes in blood cells (like sickle cell, thalessemia, etc.) and bone marrow failure(aplastic anemia).  Anemia also is found in patients on dialysis and on chemotherapy.  Your doctor can help you with this if you suspect your are anemic.
