That depends: The description of the pain suggests the cause. The word constricting or pressure or tightness are suggestive of a block in the artery that could lead to a heart attack. However, on the right side of the chest is less likely to be for that reason, more likely  if in middle or left chest.  There are many other reasons for chest pain and tests are sometimes needed to be sure of the cause.

I don't know either: But I am reassured by the length of your symptoms that it is unlikely to be anything life threatening.  You should have had pulmonary function testing with lung volumes, cxr and possibly exercise stress testing with oxygen saturation. If that is all normal it might be worthwhile to obtain ct.

The ambulance can provide oxygen and monitoring on the way to the ER. The doctors will rule out asthma, heart attack, pneumothorax (collapsed lung), etc.  If it turns out  to be rib cartilage pains (costochondritis) or heartburn (gastric reflux), that can be treated too.
