No: Hemorrhoids or swollen veins of the rectum, .
Can swell, bleedi and cause pain or discomfort.
They do not, however, cause constipation. Constipation is more commonly a dietary problem or related to medications you may be taking. Try fiber pills like metamucil and occ. Laxatives when needed.

Hemmorhoids: A thrombosed hem will usually hurt for a few days then gradually resolve, so the worst pain is likely a week or less then slowly better over another couple of weeks. It would hurt a lot less and resolve a lot quicker if you let a surgeon treat it very soon after the clot forms. Then get more fiber in your diet to prevent recurrence.

Fruits vegetable, whole grains are excellent sources of fiber.  Also, fiber only works if u are well hydrated.  Drink plenty  fluids to keep stools soft.  Don't sit for long periods on the toilet.
