Don't stop coumadin (warfarin): The latest research indicates that it is safe to perform colonoscopy and polypectomy while patients continue coumadin, (warfarin) as long as inr is in the therapeutic range of 2-3. Risk of bleeding is very low, and when compared with the risk of stroke or another clotting event, bleeding is relatively easy to control. You should confirm this with your doctor before the procedure.

Biopsy results: What did the biopsy show. A polypoid lesion can be many things from a fat pad to carcinoma. You and your doctor may wish to talk to the pathologist who examined the biopsy specimen.

abdominal x-rays, ultrasound bile duct enlarged,mrcp, blood tests, a few days ago a colonoscopy and egd w/polypectomy sessile polyp ascending colon. ulcers/erosions in gastric body. all shows normal. yet still pain mucus&jellylike bowel! overlooking?

: If liver function blood tests were normal, with a normal mrcp there's a good chance that the dilated bile ducts are insignificant. Erosive gastritis would not cause large amounts of mucus in stools, but inflammatory bowel disease can. Was there any sign of Crohn's disease in your studies as associated abdominal pain is strongly suggestive of inflammatory bowel disease. Was the ileum seen clearly?

Not very useful: Rectal prolapse when the last portion of the large intestine protrudes through the anus. Hemorrhoids are swollen blood vessels that develop in the anus and lower rectum. Early rectal prolapse can mimic internal hemorrhoids making it difficult to tell these.  Probably best test is to have a colorectal surgeon conduct exam by bearing down to show the prolapse.  Protoscopy and colonoscopy may help.

ive been diagnosed with gastroparesis & on treatment which isnt working, i have diarrhea everyday, is this related? what would the colonoscopy show?

Colonoscopy: will reveal any growth, inflammation, infection and/or spasm of the colon.Have your stool sent to the lab to check for bacteria, ova and parasites.
