i've earlier used terbinafine ,clotrimazole and terbinaforce  cream... but ringworm is not decreasing... so please suggest me... how to cure this ringworm... i'm suffering a lot.... itchiness is there.. ?

May not be ringworm: The basic adage that if the treatment isn't working, the diagnosis may be wrong may apply in this case. The agent in lotrimin (clotrimazole) should  help if it is really ringworm, but if not better after a week you might want to have it looked at.Many forms of  dermatitis can have some similar appearance.

is lotrimin as strong as lamisil (terbinafine) in treating ringworm? and is it ok to use lotrimin 1% on my 4mo old baby. it looks like she has it on her stomach.

Yes&amp;yes but only if: Lotrimin is an over-the-counter brand of clotrimazole which is an antifungal. While Lotrimin doesn't have specific adult vs pediatric guidelines, clotrimazole is approved for use in children. However, it's best to have your infant evaluated to confirm your suspicions. Lamisil is an OTC brand of terbinafine which is also an antifungal but only approved topically for children older than 12yo.

Lamisil/Hydrocortiso: Use Lamisil (terbinafine) and apply to infected and normal skin 2 cm beyond affected area
each day for a period of one month. The first week pair this with Hydrocortisone 1% daily. If this fails to resolve the problem then best to be seen to consider other causes. You may need an oral antifungal if the topical regimen fails and the lesion is determined to truly be ringworm. Hope this helps.

Tinea capitis: If the fungal infection is more widespread and deeper, you may need to take oral antifungals. I have found that for tinea capitis topical antifungals usually do not help and so i usually tend to prescribe oral antifungal instead of wasting time during which time the infection will spread further.

EITHER ARE OK FOR ATHLETES FOOT OR OTHER FUNGAL DISORDERS.

See your doc: The very best thing to do with an "unknown rash" is to see your doc and find out what it is. Then you can treat it properly. Just mixing up a concoction of stuff you have lying around is a very bad idea.
