Of the three, lotrimin, lamisil (terbinafine) and micatin, which is the best for treating scalp fungus?

Tinea capitis: If the fungal infection is more widespread and deeper, you may need to take oral antifungals. I have found that for tinea capitis topical antifungals usually do not help and so i usually tend to prescribe oral antifungal instead of wasting time during which time the infection will spread further.
