Clonazepam, Diazepam: Both Clonazepam and Diazepam are long acting Benzodiazepines and are used for Treatment of Anxiety. There are also short acting Benzodiazepines such as Lorazepam and Alprazolam
The dosage depends upon severity of Anxiety and its disabling effect on  functioning.

Neither of these is: a sleep medication.  These are for anxiety.  There are many good sleep medications, but only someone who knows your medical status can make a recommendation.

Yes: If your Doctor is switching meds there is a reason.  Klonopin is long-acting 10-12 hours. Diazepam last 4-6 hours. Perhaps you don't need the long-acting one, or maybe you will be using the diazepam more frequently.
I believe your specialist is doing the best for you.

These medications vary in the onset of action, side effects and all can be habit forming.  The best medication is the one that best fits the patients clinical problem.

Benzo's.: All are benzodiazepines. With shortest-acting being Lorazepam (ativan), then Alprazolam (xanax) , then Clonazepam (klonopin), then diazepam (valium) which can have half-life of up to 100 hours.

Why is the dog on ?: Just kidding. Nice picture. Both can make it difficult to obtain and maintain an erection. Either consult one of the healthtap urologist who can better explain the physiology or healthtap apps. Discuss with prescriber since i presume it's being taken for anxiety and their are other options which still could cause or contribute to the problem but might not. T/c urology/endocrine w/u, then psych rx.

: It's not advisable to substitute one benzodiazepine for another. In this case I would seek advice from her prescribing physician who knows her case thoroughly.

All work same.: All of them are oral medications. It is not standard practice to put any of them under the tongue. You may have a specific trade named product that says to take under tongue? Maybe your doc gave you this advice?

i am prescribed diazepam 10mg 1x daily also baclofen and prozac (fluoxetine).i recently failed a ua and they said it showed 007 clonazepam and lorazepam. why?

Medication effects: I understand your concern.
The Lab most likely tested for Benzodiazepines. It showed positive as Diazepam, Clonazepam and Lorazepam are Benzodiazepines.
Prozac and Diazepam can cause Anxiety. 
Using Diazepam with Baclofen may increase dizziness, difficulty concentrating, some impairment in thinking and judgment.
