Bubbles: Bubbles in the toilet water are no big deal, but is you experience air bubbling out when you urinate that is a serious problem.  There should be no air coming out of the urinary tract. The most common cause at your age would be a colovesical fistula (tract from colon to bladder) due to diverticulitis- a colon infection.  Seek help for this. Surgery is required to fix it

: How can you tell you have bubbles in your urine? Have you seen the bubble coming out from your urethra opening or just the bubbles in the toilet bowl? If just the bubbles or foam in the toilet bowl, they are normal. Colovesical fistula is a serious issue, your urine will be  infected, besides bubbles urine is very turbid because colon contains tons of bacteria. Normal UA rules out this condition.

went to the hospital for kidney pains and all blood and urine work came back clear. could they have missed something? urine still has a little bubbles

YES IT IS POSSIBLE: It seems you were seen in ER for what you call kidney pain.And you had blood and urine test done and that was normal.Why were you prescribed Ciprofloxacin,as that is what you are talking
If you still have pain you should consult your family doctor for re examination and you may need imaging like Ultrasound or Cat Scan to find out the cause of your pain.
