2 Different Goals: For overall leanness, you must reduce body fat. This requires a diet that is relatively low in carbodydrates because carbs are stored in the body as triglycerides (also known as fat)

for sculpted muscles you need to isolate and work out those particular muscles so that they hypertrophy (grow).

It depends: It depends on what kind of syrup you mean. I have no idea what "lean" syrup is.

No: Hydromet syrup is used for temporary relief of cough.  It's not used for weight loss or fat loss.
Please see your doctor before using hydromet syrup to be lean.

No: Ventolin as syrup is useless and may also cause side effects. The best approach to cough is treat the cause. If it is just a cold- hang on for a week.

Hydrate : If all tests and exams point to normal and you're not taking meds that cause constipation, perhaps it might be something simple like the need for HYDRATION.  Many people during the day going about life and forget to drink water or an occasional sports drink.  Coffee, tea an caffeinated beverages don't count. In fact, those are counter-productive.

i'm 33 weeks pregnant and i have a cough, went to the dr and he gave me flustat capsules and clear cough syrup. are these safe to take during pregnanc?

Flu in pregnancy: Having influenza during pregnancy may cause problems with the fetus, so protection against "the flu" may be arguably better than having the full blown disease.  "Flustat" may shorten the duration of true influenza, but the decision to take it or not is still controversial. Consult your OB physician for a discussion on the risks/benefits.

Viral Bronchiolitis?: I think your baby may have a viral bronchiolitis (cold with deep cough/wheeze). Treatment is a bit controversial. Some will use saline for the nose (spray/drops) and many will opt for asthma like care. Oral albuterol has grown out of favor for nebulizer treatments in the us. Albuterol is probably the main medication give via aerosol 3-4 times daily to help the cough and congestion.
