I'm 33 weeks pregnant and i have a cough, went to the dr and he gave me flustat capsules and clear cough syrup. are these safe to take during pregnanc?

Flu in pregnancy: Having influenza during pregnancy may cause problems with the fetus, so protection against "the flu" may be arguably better than having the full blown disease. "Flustat" may shorten the duration of true influenza, but the decision to take it or not is still controversial. Consult your OB physician for a discussion on the risks/benefits.
