Probably not: Those are not really very healthy forms of nutrition and do not have any nutritious value to your body but provide processed, pure calories. I suggest replacing them with complex carbohydrates or fruits/veggies as well as dark chocolate (>75%) for two reasons: getting some nutrition and anti-oxidants as well as lowering your blood sugar and Insulin in long term to avoid weight gain.

Oats are carbs: And, unless it's dark chocolate, it has milk and sugar in it.  There is something called a paleo bar that is better.   Peace and good health.

Self control is best: Daily chocolate in small amounts is not a bad thing, especially if it is dark chocolate which has anti-oxidant capabilities. The critical factor is simply the amount. In moderation there are very few bad habits.

Love chocolate: There is alot of data that indicates that dark chocolate is good for you but let's get real : it's not low carb!  A 1.5 oz candy bar (Hershey's Special Dark Chocolate) has 21 grams of sugar in it!  (sugar is a carbohydrate).

Yes, but only dark..: The answer is yes, but i strongly advise dark chocolate with at least 70% cocoa solids. Dark chocolate is actually good for you- the flavonoids are great antioxidants good for heart health.The benefits of the cocoa outweigh the harm of the sugars in dark chocolate.But milk chocolate has too much sugar &not enough antioxidants to balance the sugar, & that much sugar might interfere with weight loss.

Nutritionist : sorry that you're having such trouble with  IBS. That diet sounds like a quite strict diet. It is not the usual first step in dealing with IBS, and it will cause you difficulty getting adequate fiber to deal with your IBS. Did you adopt this diet on your own or is it suggested by a physician? Either way, a nutritionist can help to make sure that you take it in adequate nutrition. Good luck.

Weight loss: Your start is admirable essentially you need to decrease total caloric intake watch items rich in fat and not filling ice cream soda cheese etc watch portion size try to get away from table less then full if uncomfortable drink diet soda or milk to fill if needed keep diet log donot eat on run reward once a week.

Not add - ?subsitute: If you are overweight, you certainlly don't want to add anything sugary. While some evidence suggests dark chocolate decreases heart attack risk, it is not a panacea. If you are going to eat sweets, dark chocolate is better than others.
