: The first thing you want to do is make sure that your allergy condition is managed well. Antihistamines may help prevent allergy induced dark circles under your eyes and around your nose, as well as the urge to rub them.  Once your allergies are well controlled, allow 6 months for the  darkened areas to heal. If the dark areas persist, use a commercial skin lightener to even your tone.
