Should look at FDA: I know of no current recalls but that doesn't mean there isn't one.  Check on the FDA website as well as call the company.  Every company keeps a log of what implants are implant and who they're used in.  This helps follow through on recalls.  Likely if you haven't been contacted then your ok but that's not 100%.

Yes: I am not sure about all of the abbreviations you used however poly myosotis by itself can affect healing and recovery.  It should be well controlled at the time of surgery.  Having an autoimmune disease does not mean you can't have surgery however the risk of problems and the healing rate are affected by a small amount.

following left hip replacement surgery, is it common for piriformis and sciatica to hurt so bad one can't get out of bed, for 7-8 mths.?

Uncommon: If your sciatic pain has been going on for 8 months, you may be dealing with a herniated lumbar disc and an MRI of your lumbosacral spine would be worthwhile for evaluation and treatment decision. You could consult a neurologist or neurosurgeon first.

See a specialist: The first thing you should do is talk to your orthopaedic surgeon and tell him or her the problem you are having. If you are unable to get the answers you need there, you need to seek a 2nd opinion.  Find an orthopaedic surgeon, who specializes in adult reconstruction. University health systems are a good place to start. You'll need new x-rays and an infection work-up for evaluation & treatment.

: Excessive bending past 90 degrees definitely places stress on a hip replacement and can predispose you to dislocations in time. Your orthopedic surgeon can advise you best on how to get the most longevity out of your hip replacement.

: Followup with orthopedic surgery, as it appears that the knee now requires attention.  Films of the knee will likely reveal etiology.  Treatment will depend upon severity of knee problems.

Physiatrist: I would recommend seeing a physiatrist. These are doctors of physical therapy. I would also consult your surgeon and possibly get a second opinion.

Speak to your doc: Perhaps they will give you an alternative pain killer. I would also recommend you ice as much as possible. Keep yourself well hydrated.

Unknown: The type of nerve injury affects the recovery rate.  Whether it is stretched, bruised, cut, or otherwise damaged affects the recovery.  Nerves regenerate slowly after damage and generally "regrow" an average of 1mm/day.  So depending on the location of damage and how far to regrow can determine length of recovery.  In some cases, they never recover fully.
