See a specialist: The first thing you should do is talk to your orthopaedic surgeon and tell him or her the problem you are having. If you are unable to get the answers you need there, you need to seek a 2nd opinion. Find an orthopaedic surgeon, who specializes in adult reconstruction. University health systems are a good place to start. You'll need new x-rays and an infection work-up for evaluation & treatment.
