See eye doctor: It may still be there but walled off and no longer draining and may have to be opened again.  Use warm compress four times a day for 10 minutes and make appointment to see your eye doc to see if it needs topical, oral, or surgical correction.

what do i do with two of my chalazion on my right eyelid?.. i had my 1st one around the 4th week and my 2nd one showed up on the last week of august. i've just started treating them with hot compress yesterday but there was no sign of improvement?

It can recur: Try hot compresses as many time as you can do and as maximum heat as you could tolerate
You might need another surgery to remove it if that does not work

R/O CHALAZION: Your description is consistent with a CHALAZION . Apply warm soaks and seek an exam from your internist , you may need antibiotics topically and orally. Also potentially Ophtho  consult if it persists.

Tumor: Odds are in favor of a chalazion, but there are many other lesions than can occur. Majority of tumors are benign, but if malignant, you want it removed as soon as possible.

can i wear contact lenses with a chalazion under my eyelid?

Yes: In theory, yes.  But chalazions may compress on the eye surface, so if the contact lens does not feel right, take it out.  Also, if the chalazion becomes infected, you should remove the contact lens.

Numb: The eyelid is "numbed" or anesthetized with an injection of Lidocaine or similar medication before draining a chalazion.
