No: The nerves that supply the ear are cranial nerves that come directly from the brain and so do not pass through the neck and so the two are probably not related.

Spondylosis: Yes it can; neck pain and radiating symptoms to the chest or clavicle (collar)bone can happen, depending on the level in the neck that has degeneration.... Neck can't break,but: Your neck can;t break,but you could get articular nerve pain, numbness and tingling at that level. You should make sure you have a proper head rest in your car. and if you swim don't dive. A physical therapist can instruct you in gentle strengthening exercises and activities to avoid.
