No, there: Can be errors in measurement.  We start watching closely if it is less than the 10% it sounds fine but follow up with doc.

Accepted Answer

No, need tests: A simple cyst in the spleen is usually without symptoms. If it does cause symptoms it would be pain, or cause a lack of appetite. The spleen can be seen  and evaluated by ultrasound, or ct scan or mri. Any of those test will be able to measure the size of the cyst.

Some thoughts...: They could be cysts, little fluid filled sacs, that are generally harmless but sometimes could become inflamed.  It'd be good to have your son's doc take a feel of them - don't need to have him go to an urgent care or ed, but just a regular visit, especially if they've been there for a long time.

No: A cyst on the spleen will not affect your appetite.  However the cyst was diagnosed, ct or sonogram, there should be some measurement of the cyst.  Do not be concerned, as congenital cysts of the spleen, liver , and/or kidneys are not uncommon.  Your primary doctor can answer any other questions at your next visit.  Good luck.

LMP date could cause: You may have recalled your last period date (lmp)incorrectly and then your due date may not be accurately calculated.  You may have gestational diabetes and that can cause a fetus to grow larger more rapidly than it should.  You may have decreased blood flow from the placenta to the fetus ( like from smoking) and this can decrease the rate of growth of the fetus.

Child psychologist: I recommend have her see a child psychologist. He/she might be able to get to the cause of this, and help you develop strategies to manage the behavior.

Usually benign: "pimples" on the epididymis , usually fluid filled, often come and go throughout your lifetime. Larger cysts are generally not painful; however can cause pressure on the testicle and may require removal or drainage.

Lots. see md: May simply be inadequate fiber in diet, lack of fluid intake, physical inactivity, meds, depression, gut motility issues. Could also be more significant problems, e.G diverticulosis, diverticulitis, polyps, tumors, cancet, other. Had a colonoscopy? When? May need to repeat. See md.

BOIL: The medical term is furuncle; an infected ingrown hair.  Hair follicles are connected to gland producing sweat &amp; other substances that moisturize skin &amp; defend against infection.  When ingrown hairs can't reach the surface, they "plug the system", allowing substances to accumulate below the surface. A boil forms.  Groin is a common site b/c the hairs are naturally curly &amp; prone to become ingrown.
