Down under the toe.: It sounds as though you've managed to injure the toe. Bruising is a sign of underlying tissue damage and steps should be taken to minimize further damage. Exercising should be eliminated until the effects of the injury are under control. Ice compression, elevation and rest are the mainstays of treatment. To remove all doubt, have the toe x-rayed and examined to assess the  degree of injury.

is this athlete's foot? a while ago my pinky toe began to hurt really badly, i look and i see that there is a rash in between my pinky toe along with white spots(?), liquid comes out too, it hurts alot when scratched or rubbed often against other toe?

: It is possible that this could be athletes foot, however it is possible this may be an infection or a form of dermatitis.
It would be best to have it evaluated by a podiatrist.

Sounds: Like it may be a form of fungus. However, because he is diabetic it would be prudent to have it examined by a podiatrist or dermatologist.

Need more informatio:  The spots that you describe as blood spots need to be evaluated. I can't tell from your description as to whether the blood spots are tender themselves or are these dilated vessels, are there areas of loss of tissue, or are there neurologic issues involved,so we need more information.  These could be an area of trauma depending on your shoe

Not normal: Bruising may be from a break in the bone or  a torn joint capsule of the great toe. Have it at least x-rayed. An MRI may be required. Ice, rest 
anti -inflammatories until those studies are completed

Synovitis heel cord: At age 27, i wouldn't think that this would be arthritis.  I would suspect a gait change that causes overuse with inflammation, synovitis in the toe and fasciitis in the heel.  The usual culprit is a tight calf.  Without an exam, i would recommend calf stretching, .

good morning doctors. i see four purple spots on my toes where the toes bend. my foot itself is not discolored..only these purple spots where the little toes bend forward. my big toe is clear and not purple. what is your respected opinion please?

: They could be clinically significant if you have history of atherosclerotic vascular disease or cardiac arrhythmia. So if you do not have a clean bill of health, you should visit your family doctor. Otherwise, just observe those for any sign of progression. Good luck.
