Depends: For a simple fracture (not requiring setting'), 1) a cast or a brace may be used.  More complex fractures may require 1) manipulative reduction ('setting of the fracture by manipulating it') and casting or 2) surgical reduction and fixation. Fixation may be performed by use of a) pins, ii) plates and screws, iii) rods, iv) external fixation.

Depends: This depends on a number of factors such as the type of fracture, whether surgery was done or not, and, possibly most importantly, the pain tolerance of the individual.  Essentially all painkillers are narcotics (other than tramadol), and most physicians will start with less potent painkillers and increase the potency as indicated.

Fracture: Children heal very well. As long as there is no problem with bone alignment  and no nevbe or vascular damage, there shouldn't be any long term damage.

While : While cervical (neck bone) compression fractures are rare in the absence of trauma, its quite possible you have a degenerative condition causing your symptoms.  Disc bulging, herniations, and arthritis are just a few conditions that are commonly a source of nerve root irritation in the neck that can cause neck/shoulder pain that travels down the arm.  Most of the time it can be treated successfully with nsaid's, pt, activity modification, etc.  Less commonly it requires some more invasive intervention (injections or surgery).  A visit to your pcp (or orthopedist if you have one) would be in your best interest.

what are the surgical options to fix unequal arm bone length. the cause is damaged growth plates from childhood fracture. 8mm difference in the bones.

Non operative: 8 mm discrepancy is not much unless it causes an angular deformity at the wrist. The options include a procedure to stop the growth of   the longer bone or to lengthen  the shorter one. Once Growth is complete, the only option would be the lengthening procedure.

Fractures: You may have osteogenesis imperfecta type i which can cause fractures of the long bones, and vertebrae. It also cause joint pain and general discomfort seek help from an orthopedist associated with a teaching hospital and a geneticist to review your situation.

4 weeks ago i had a type 2 radial head fracture on my left arm. the right side of my face is now slightly numb to light touches and some temperature changes. is this caused from the pressure of the sling on the right side of my neck?

No: If the sling compressed and blocked circulation of the right carotid artery, damage to the right side of the cerebral cortex would affect the left side of he face and body. A neurologist would evaluate you to determine the cause of your right facial numbness and facial nerve pathology.
