The same cancer: Recurrence means that it's the same cancer that has come back.  While it may come back in a different place in the abdomen-- the cell type is the same regardless even if the ovaries are no longer there.  A biopsy will show if the recurrence is consistent with the original cancer.

BRCA gene: If there is a history in your genealogical  lineage of breast, ovarian, and/or colon cancer, the BRCA gene may be in play increasing one's risk for either of the three maladies. There is gene testing available to make that determination.  Females are more obviously affected because of the first two, but male relatives can pass the gene along to descendants.

: A family risk for ovarian cancer would include sisters, mother, aunts. The person you describe would be a great aunt. But, you should review this information with your doctor since you could get tested to see if you carry any gene that puts you at greater risk. Best of luck to you!

No single test: There is no single test for cancer, genetic or otherwise. Your family history is not suggestive of a high risk for cancer.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

i was diagnosed with ovarian cancer had a full hysterectomy have a microscopic spot still in one of my lymth nodes but i had the oder like sewage before an after. what could this be. i hate it its embarrassing ?

: Can you clarify where does the odor come from?
Lymph node involvement should have nothing to do with the odor, whatever in any part of your body.
Complication of an extensive pelvis surgery could cause fistula between colon and certain organ in the pelvis and that could be the source of odor.
