Yes: Some patients say it causes a metallic taste.  But most say it changes the taste of some food and then resolves after completing treatment.

Go back to doctor: Something else may be going on and it is possible you need to undergo upper GI endoscopy.  See a GI doctor.

Tongue sores: These sores are very telling about the mouth. You have been assaulted by "Stuff". Find out what it is. DO NOT DELAY.  Go to the ER/ O.Surgeon, / or hospital trained DDS/DMD. They will help a lot.

How painful?: If they're really painful, you'd be seeking to take an analgesic, but if they're merely tender (like your testes), these are normal -- they're probably your friends. I'm wondering why a grown man like yourself, with just a bit of psoriasis so far as you have shared, has candida in the mouth. If this is real, have you been checked for diabetes? HIV infection?

Confirmation: Recurrent vaginal candidiasis needs an extensive workup. One should be tested for diabetes and immune system suppression. It is also necessary to confirm that the vaginal infection is in fact yeast. This should be done by fungal culture. Many times people think they have yeast when in reality they have something else.

: Stop taking antibiotics for 'minor' testicular pain. Also candidiasis in mouth can be caused by it, Wear a good supprt underwear. If pain persists see a Urologist and don't take any antibiotics specially if not prescribed by a Urologist. Not a good aidea to take ANY medicine unless prescribed.

Not by itself: Candidiasis in the mouth usually results from an underlying immune deficiency like hiv, or other chronic illnesses like diabetes. Those if not adequately controlled can cause harm and should be treated. Once the underlying condition is treated, the oral candidiasis will resolve easily with treatment.

Salt water gargles: It depends on how bad it is - you may need medication - you can prevent it by cleaning your mouth each time you eat and brush your teeth twice a day.
