Quinolones & Calcium: Oral intake of calcium salts may interfere with proper absorption of orally administered quinolone antibiotics such as Ciprofloxacin (cipro). A 4-hour separation window between the two should be sufficient to prevent an interaction between the two.

Generally yes: The better question is why?  Unisom contains mainly a sedating antihistamine in otc doses.  This medication while it makes you sleepy with one, can often make people groggy or excessively tired with more than one.  Melatonin may be helpful to add but not if experiencing tolerance to unisom.

No.: There are no known drug interactions at the recommended doses. Unisom is the brand name for diphenhydramine, an antihistamine. It also has anticholinergic and cough suppressant properties. Melatonin works on your pineal gland to help promote a regular sleep cycle. Be aware of potential overssedation when taking both at high doses.

: Melatonin is a naturally occurring hormone that is put out by the pineal gland in your brain. It helps control the sleep rhythm depending on the time of day. Taking additional melatonin should not significantly affect restless leg syndrome. The dose of 3 mg is quite low. A midrange dose is 5 mg with the maximum dose of 10 mg daily.

Work: This is usually associated with not having worked adequately during your waking hours.  Get a job or other activity that will require mental and/or physical activity sufficient to fatigue you out.  This is usually very helpful financially also.

: It is always a good idea to space your medications apart. Re lexapro you should have been given a paper by your pharmacy regarding its use. To remove all doubt call your lexapro prescriber for specific directions of usage in your particular case and always let them know what ever else you take.

Yes but:: Medscape's drug interaction database says no interaction between Unisom and your meds, but it does show an interaction between Zoloft (sertraline) and Adderall. Zoloft (sertraline) can cause Adderall levels to go to high.&gt;This could be a cause for insomnia. Speak with your physician.

Melatonin: Dose of melatonin varies from 3mg to 10mg.  You might start with 3 or 5mg.  Some people need to take it one hour before bed, some people need to take it up to three hours before bed.  You may want to talk to your doctor of pharmacist about what dose is right for you and interactions with any other medications you take.
