Safe: Pepcid (famotidine) is used in newborns in levels higher than would be found in breastmilk.  It is safe.  Claritin (loratadine)  an antihistamine might alter breast milk flow.  Consider instead using nasal steroid or nasal cromolyn (both over the counter). Both are safe with breastfeeding.

: You trained him to co-sleep &amp; this is the result. Try training him to self- settle by reading/sitting near him as he goes to sleep. Gradually move from close to more distant. When he acquires the ability to self-settle to begin sleep, he can do so during the night when his sleep cycle briefly wakes him. Do not nurse him down or use a binky. Neither promote self-settling success.
