With doctor order.: 2 aleve (naproxen) are the equivalent of 440mg of Naproxen sodium.  Prescription strength Naproxen is 500mg.  So it is possible to use under the prescription or recommendation of your physician.

Ibuprofen: Ibuprofen is more effective, can be taken 4 times a day. Local heat will help. aleve (naproxen) is taken 10-12hr apart.

Probably Not: Unfortunately, nsaid's like aleve, (naproxen) Ibuprofen and others all can affect your kidney function, can cause high blood presure and interfere with some BP meds. You also have a higher risk of GI complications like ulcers.  What you are doing probably isn't a good idea to be done without more definite indications.

No : Aleve and advil are both nsaids and just not be taken together. Choose one and add tylenol (acetaminophen).

: The advil is spaced out every 6-8 hours, while aleve is every 12 hours. I think you should be ok taking nonprescription aleve with acetominophen at 10 PM but usually we stick with one or the other and not mix them.

Never mix: aspirin and Advil or Aleve (naproxen).

i just finished taking medroxyprogesterone and now on serophene (clomid). i pulled my back out. can i take two aleve (220mg each) and robaxin (500mg) safely together while on the hormones?

Pharmacist: I strongly recommend that you ask your pharmacist about this matter as I'm sure he/she has more information about possible Clomid medication interactions although not much information about Clomid interactions is apparently available to physicians.
