It is a good imaging: Mri is a good imaging tool for sarcomas. It will show the normal anatomy of the bone and the additional growth arising from the bone and we can see the exact dimensions of the cancer and its local extent of spread and invasion into the surrounding tissues.

Sorry to hear: This. A scapula is a very odd bone for a primary tumor, and also odd for something traveled to that bone, but it does no get bone spurs. A "mass" needs to be biopsied. However, it is more likely to be from some other place: lung, breast (w), prostate (m)...My last scapular met came from a kidney primary.

Not cancer: Based on your description, a sac known as a "bursa" that cushions the bones of your ankle, may be inflammed, which is a common injury and may be caused by increased exercise, poorly fitting shoes, or basically a type of low grade, longer term irritation. This bursitis can be treated with a steroid injection directly into the area, or by oral anti-inflammatories. Bone cancer is unusual in your age.

Yes, some details se: Ct scan shows the normal anatomy of all the structures examined although it is not the best test for hip cancer which is best seen with a ct scan or MRI scan of the pelvis with a focus on the bones.

If you have an obsessive fear of bone cancer, your physical can suggest reprogramming techniques.
