i have a 10 year old son. i have been trying to get pregnant for five years and have been a very heavy drinker for five years as well. i recently stopped drinking, in january 2013 but i can't get pregnant. what should i do?

Go To Doctor: There is absolutely nothing we can do for you here about this. In the U.S. We recommend fertility testing after six months of failed attempts to get pregnant.  It sounds like you are well due for this type of medical evaluation.

26 weeks pregnant and cmv negative. a 9 or 10 year old coughed directly on me today. could i catch cmv from this?

CMV: Does the child who coughed on you have CMV? If they did then transmission is unlikely but possible. If they child does not have CMV then you would not catch CMV.

Depends: If your body has matured to the point you are releasing eggs, you can get pregnant. The earliest pregnancy I can recall was in a 6yo in Peru with a hormone problem.

Infertility: Most of the time, its that you are not ovulating, but the next most common issue is male infertility. Check for ovulation and get a semen analysis.

i had my last child 4 years ago but before that it had been about ten years since i had a baby and i just had an iud put in im 32 years old but i do want one more child how hard will it be to get pregnant once iud is removed and i don't get pregnant easy?

No problem: The iud should pose no additional problem in conceiving. There's only one birth control method that has been shown to prolong infertility and that's the depot Provera shot.  As soon as the iud is removed, you should be good to try.  The Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud does cause some thinning of the uterine lining, but a cycle or two and your lining will be perfect.

Yes possible: Speak to your gynecologist if you do not have any abnormalities, or severe systemic illnesses , will refer you to a fertility specialist after the test only you will get the right answer and good luck.

The chances are: Becoming slim by age 44 to have a child naturally. But, i was almost 44 when i had my last child (naturally). The risk for misscarriages, health problems for the baby and health problems for the mother is much higher at this age.  Most women aren't able to become naturally pregnant at this age.

29 years old and overweight for few years can't get pregnant and don't know what is going on?

PCOS?: It is important to check your male hormone levels (testosterone and dhea). If these are elevated, you may have polycystic ovary syndrome. A pelvic ultrasound may help with the diagnosis.

44 years old. trying to get pregnant. could symptoms i'm having be pregnancy or premenopausal?

No description: You didn't give any symptoms for us to evaluate, but many early pregnancy symptoms and the symptoms of irregular menses in the premenopause are the same.  At 44, I would see your GYN before conceiving to talk about some risks and of course you need to be taking a prenatal vitamin before you conceive.
