Heartbeat in stomach: This sensation can be normal but at times it may signify a bulging out of the aorta or other vessel called an aneurysm
of the vessel.  This could be dangerous.  Best if you make an appointment with your doctor for an examination to check this out.

Nothing: Most patients have "low cardiac awareness, " meaning that they can't feel their heart beating normally. Anyone can be trained to take their pulse by feeling the (radial) artery at the wrist, or by gently feeling the carotid artery in the neck. The feeling of the pulse in those locations is generated by the (normal) heartbeat. Not feeling your heart beating in the chest is normal.

It Varies: Racing heartbeats, or palpitations, may come from a wide variety of conditions.  Premature atrial (pacs) or ventricular contractions (pvcs) are common.  Supraventricular tachycardia, atrial fibrillation/flutter, ventricular tachycardia all can cause a rapid pulse.  Sometimes just the normal rhythm going faster than normal may cause a sensation of palpitations.
