Heartbeat in stomach: This sensation can be normal but at times it may signify a bulging out of the aorta or other vessel called an aneurysm of the vessel. This could be dangerous. Best if you make an appointment with your doctor for an examination to check this out.

Common symptom: It could be a result of the heart itself resting upon the diaphragm (breathing muscle) which lies, just above the stomach. It could also mean the main artery, that feeds blood to the lower body, is being felt. Other possibilities too, since blood pulsates throughout your entire body. You should get a thorough history and physical exam, by your doctor for evaluation.

Indigestion: Indigestion is the easiest guess. How often does this occur? Try an antacid, and if it doesn't help or if this recurrs, see your physician.

Not well: The organism is killed by stomach acid so those with diminished levels of gastric acid are more susceptible. If you ingest enough, some danger through.

Agree. Antacids taken soon before the vibrio is ingested cause significant risk. This happened to me once.

What does it mean when you put pressure on your stomach and can feel your heartbeat?

Not unusual.: it is rather common to be able to feel a pulse in the abdomen, especially if you press down hard and if you are thin. Unless you are having symptoms such as severe abdominal pain with it, this is nothing to worry about. Enjoy your weekend.

Left side?: So, when you lie on your left side your heart is much closer to the inside of your chest wall and pretty near the stomach. You might be much more aware of it beating in this position. You don't say how old you are. If you have high blood pressure or are over 60, and this is definitely new, you should just have your abdomen checked to be sure it is not an enlargement of heart or aorta.
