Yes: Any new permanent filling  can increase the saliva in the mouth temporarily.  Irm and cavit temporary fillings will slowly break down in the mouth and this may be what you are experiencing if this has been going on for a while.  A gold restoration near a silver amalgam restoration can actually give you  a shock.

Yes: 1) amalgam - silver type, least expensive, tends to leak bacteria to the inside and leads to internal fractures.
2) composite resin - tooth color, great if "proper" use of bonding solution.  The bigger it is the weaker it is.
3) glass ionomer - limited use in more long term temporary situations.
There are others based on the specific application and properties needed.

Replacing fillings: This seemingly simple question is not quite that easy to answer, especially sight unseen. Can a filling be replaced? Yes. However, it might require more than just a filling based upon the condition of the tooth and the reason why it needs replacement. If it just chipped, discolored or slightly more decay, then yes. If substantial decay, fracture, nerve exposure, etc, probably not.

Yes, but...: Usually for a short time only. Like a cut in the skin, it is normal to be tender for a couple of days until it heals. Deep fillings and cracked teeth can be highly sensitive (esp. To ice/cold) and may need further care. Sensitivity that lasts should be evaluated by your dentist. Root canal therapy can alleviate painful pulpal problems.

: Tooth pain on biting is diagnostic problem usually related to one or a combination of five things, a high restoration in the bite, a fracture in the tooth structure, inflammation at the apex of the tooth, a filling flexing under pressure when bonding to the tooth structure is inconsistent or the restortion being close to the nerve and time needed to adjust and settle.  You might want a 2nd opinion

Nope: If so, most of the world's population would have died off by now.. So many silver fillings have been placed in the last 150 years, a problem with their use would have manifested itself a long, long, long time ago.

Sealants-fillings: Sealants are resins, less viscous than fillings, do not require tooth structure removal and are meant to protect defective pits and fissures only on teeth. Fillings replace tooth structure destroyed by cavities and fractured teeth.

I don't know: What you mean by "a dental trainer". If you mean a removable orthodontic appliance such as a Hawley or a tooth aligner like Invisalign, the answer is yes you can.
Any loose composite fillings should be replaced before the teeth re - decay.
