That can happen.: I would encourage you to look into destressing techniques like deep breathing exercises & progressive muscle relaxation. Yes: Stress causes many reactions in the body. Some people get headaches or back pain, others have stomach problems. It sounds like your stress may be causing you to feel bad. The best treatment is to decrease the stress in your life- talk to a friend or a counselor, rearrange life priorities, get help with a problem, reevaluate romantic relationships. If problems continue, see your doctor.

May need workup w MD: dyspepsia is a symptom - often caused by underlying problems rather than make them. Stress can lead to gastritis and ulcers that give symptoms that you describe. Reflux can lead to bruxism and jaw pain&amp;dyspepsia. Should role out treatable causes eg parasites and gallstone, start empiric omeprazole or similar class of medicine, and make sure you don't have h pylori infection. Happy to consult

For some people -: the GI tract can be quite reaction to stress. Please work on reducing stress/ anxiety. Talking therapy ranks really high. Cognitive Behavioral therapy or psychotherapy can be effective. Aim for daily exercise, 8 hours of sleep per night &amp; good nutrition w 5 servings of veggies &amp; 4 of fruit per day. Try tai chi, yoga, Qi Gong, progressive muscle relaxation, deep breathing exercises &amp; meditation.

i have stomach pain that comes and goes its not bad and i get nervous and stressed out really easily i am a very nervous person and when i get like that is usually when my stomach starts hurting. is there something i could do to ease it?

: You may try breathing meditation (sit in a quiet place, breath in deeply, hold your breath as long as possible, breathe out deeply, continue for 20 minutes, lie down for 10 minutes to let stress keep leaving your body; I get headaches when I stand up and rush around immediately after 20 min of breathing meditation). Use 10 minutes of breathing meditation and 5 min lying down if not enough time.

See your doctor: Please see your doctor to completely investigate any pain that is "continuous."  review your dietary history, including any alcohol intake.  Stomach ulcers and gastritis can cause pain, as well as many other things.  You may need a simpler diet for awhile to let things settle down anatomically.  If all checks out medically, you can work with a therapist on mind-body skills to reduce your stress.
