: If the lesion was removed or treated then a followup colonoscopy is indicated depending on the size , location and judgement of your Gastro MD . from your description chances of losing your colon are low.

Very unlikely: If you are concerned about the dysplastic cells from the poly that was removed, getting into the colon, you need not worry. Do get repeat colonoscopy as advised by your doctor.

Not all colon cancer: Approximately 85% of colon cancers do start as polyps. The other 15 percent occur in cases of chronic inflammation. Cancer can develop in patients with ulcerative colitis with no polyp stage. The chronic inflammation itself can be a precancerous state.

No, wait for report: The tissue should have been submitted to a pathologist for examination and you will get a report in a couple of days. At this stage there is nothing to be concerned about.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

Not known: It is good that you had colonoscopy and had the polyps removed. We do not know the exact cause of polyps. It is likely a combination of genetics, diet and environment.

i had a colonoscopy and found out my colon is twisted and they removed several polyps. how long should the pain in my abdomen last? is that normal to have pain?

Some pain is normal: Some pain and disconfort after colonoscopy is expected. You can expect to be back to normal in 3 to 5 days. The pain should slowly diminish. If the pain increases, becomes intolerable, or is associated with other symptoms like fever or blood when you go to the bathroom, you should consult with the physician that made the procedure!

Yes, if possible: When you have a colonoscopy and polyps are found- as much as possible, all those polyps- especially the ones that are quite large and look suspicious- would need to be removed ( if possible)  to prevent the risk to develop into something more serious- like cancer.

Good chance: With this many polyps others could easily have been missed or you could grow small polyps in a year i agree with repeat procedure 1yr. Also will determine how fast you grow polyps and determine future schedule if procedure.
