If done properly NO: A lumbar puncture done correctly has the needle inserted into the subarachnoid space below the level at which the spinal cord ends, and there should be no neurological damage.  The question is why was the LP done and did you have a condition which produced nerve damage.  What does your doctor say?

Pain: We think this can cause pain after eating. Pain is typically right upper abdomen and goes to back. It's called biliary dyskinesia, and the diagnosis is made with a nuclear medicine scan called a cck hida. Treatment is to remove the gallbladder surgically. Hope this helps!

Clarify please: Tamsulosin is frequently used in cases of Hypertrophic prostate.  Is this your cause?  You may benefit from increasing dose but discuss with urologist first

: If you void 7 or 8 ounces of urine and didn't  have an urge to urinate, it would point to a neurogenic bladder disorder. Start with a urodynamic study of your bladder as dictated by a urologist.

is the penis pulled to reattach the urethra to the bladder during prostectomy? i have painful penis in a.m. and all day soreness.tylenol&percs no work

After Prostatectomy: During surgery to remove the prostate, the bladder neck and urethra above the sphincter are sewn together. Reduction in penile length post-op comes partly from contraction in this area.  Nerve sparing or resection results in decreased blood flow to the penis. The former eventually resolves, the latter rarely so.  If you are recently post-op (< 3 mos) then nsaids like aleve (naproxen) should help. Ask your md.
