No: I'm not aware of any study looking at the effect of antibiotics on t levels. Even if that were the case, it's more likely not the fault of the many antibiotics but rather the fact that you're ill that led to decrease in production while your body's attention was diverted trying to get you healthy.

No: Very unlikely that taking a short course of antibiotics would affect testosterone level in either men or women. Perhaps your body isn't making its typical amount of T due to your illness but the antibiotics shouldn't have a negative effect. Why even focus on T? Feeling poorly when sick is due to illness, not low T.

You need a complete: There is a broad differential diagnosis and you need o see a competent internist or  urologist and although an endocrinologist can do the job,  you need not wait for one to start your work up and treatment

and you must make the time

You need a good testicles exam and lab work

: Talk to the doc who checked your testosterone level, as to what the causes and plan will be in case your testosterone is low. Once prescribed, you will have to inform your employer from the beginning of the drug used.

i suffer from intermittent testicular torsion and i have now developed low testosterone as a result. how can i recover from low libido ? are there any other alternatives to testosterone replacement therapy ? trt stops spermatogenesis. what options ?

: If the diagnosis of intermittent torsion is correct have it fixed ASAP. Low testosterone does not develop from that. There are many reason for low lobido. Replacement therapy is for low testosterone.  Self diagnosis wrong and dangerous. You should see a Urologist to straighten things out

: There may be more than one "root" cause. One seems to be nutritional deficiency and the second one is thyroid insufficiency. You appear to have seen a doctor and should with her/him to sort out the issues and corrective medications. You may take oral iron, multivitamins and 2000 units of vitamin D3 to address nutritional deficiencies.

Hyperthyroid: The TSH is low this can be associated with hyperthyoridism which could be underlying factor in the conditions described.

Here are some ...: At 330 ng.dl level for a 19-y-o man, it is low, but worthwhile to have it tested - be sure be done in the morning (7-11 A.M.) and if necessary, do T/F testosterone, LH, prolactin as well. Nowadays, more younger have low-T resulting from poor lifestyle with obsession, drug use, stress, depression,.... If low-T is confirmed, don't use T itself, but try Clomid (clomiphene) so not to suppress sperm...

Find cause first: 1st things 1st. Low testosterone is just a number. We treat people, not numbers. So repeat your test before going any further. Needs to be checked at least twice in early morning for accuracy. If no symptoms, just monitor (shouldn't even have checked!). If symptoms (lots of disagreement as to just what constitutes hypogonadism), need complete eval eg pituitary adenoma, hemochromatosis, etc.
