Avoid triggers: Like wool, lanolin.  Keep skin moisturized. Topical steroids or ointment with tar.  Ultraviolet light. And Benadryl (diphenhydramine) for itching.

: There is most likely less inflammation, and flares may vary in severity. Watch for signs of skin infection and avoid scratching. Keep skin well hydrated with fragrance free moisturizer.

One thought: If you are taking any medication, especially a new one, this may be a fixed eruption due to the medication. That's the serious concern here. If it hangs on for another week, ask about a biospy. Were you given a trial of a mild topical glucocorticoid? Also note you have acne. This needs to be managed especially now that you're an adult. Topical benzoyl peroxide and/or retinoic acid are your friends

Likely have ezcema: This skin condition could be another type of ezcema like you have on your torso. It is unusual that this is only occuring in one armpit and not the other.  I would be useful for a doctor to examine the rash.  You could also try an OTC steroid cream and see if it goes away. If not then go see the doctor.

IMPROVE not remove: There are many options to improve scars discussed here but it is genrally impossible to remove a scar unless you replace it with another.

recurring rashes on my legs and ankles for several months.  internist and dermatologist have diagnosed as allergic dermatitis and one said nummular eczema. currently treating with rx of triamcinolone and aveno soap.  need idea what to do next?

Moisturizer: Apply moisturizer several times per day. A moisturizer without fragrance and avoiding immersion in water may be helpful.
