No mouthwash: Gets rid of gum disease.  There is a prescription rinse called Peridex (chlorhexidine gluconate) that can be dispensed by a dentist that can help.  But you need to be evaluated by a dentist to determine the cause and then be appropriately treated.

Cover up only: Mouthwashes do not really get rid of bad breath.  They only cover them up.  While it is true that some reduce the bacterial levels in your mouth, you really need to find out the cause of your bad breath.  Once you know that, you can prevent it, rather than merely try to cover it up, only to have it return.  Poor oral hygiene is the most common cause, although there are many dental & medical causes.

None available: Gum disease (periodontal disease) cannot be treated and cured with mouthwash. You need to see a dentist to have your teeth cleaned and a treatment plan devised as to how to correct your problem. Evaluation needed: You shouldn't try to treat gum bleeding without a  a clear diagnosis. It may be gingivitis (and this is not trivial). It could also reflect more systemic bleeding problems.  Either way, you need a diagnosis, and probably intervention. If there are no other signs of easy bleeding, start with a good dental evaluation, then if more answers are needed, see a good internist.

Halitosis: Bad breath can be caused by many different factors, including sinus infections, periodontal problems, smoking, cavities, acid reflux, and your diet. Address all of these possibilities with your dentist and physician, and I'm confident that your problem will at least be minimized, and hopefully eradicated.

First things first: You need to have the cause of your halitosis determined. Is it a dental problem, gum problem, acid reflux, or your diet? Just masking the bad breath for 5 minutes with a "product" will not solve your problem... It will only frustrate you. Have a dental check up and then consult with your physician.. Once the cause of your halitosis is determined, proper advice can be given. All the best..

Bleach-like taste?: Why do you have a bleach-like taste?  Tooth brushing cleans all your teeth surfaces except in between your teeth.  Floss cleans those areas best.  See your dentist for a one on one clinical exam to answer your questions best.  We can only guess as to what is going on in your mouth.

i have a bitter taste on just my lips. can taking zinc or d3 or prebiotic or vitamin c cause this. i used mouthwash to try and get rid of it but no help. i take alot of medication could that cause it help i can't stand the taste anymore. i drink wat?

: OTC trial by omission. Start with the Zinc. Discontinue it's use for a week. If the bitter taste disappears, you'll know Zinc's the culprit. If taste does not change, restart Zinc and discontinue D3, etc. If you discover the cause, contact your GP to report your findings. DO NOT discontinue any of your prescribed Meds before first getting clearance from your MD/DO

Need More Info: Ulcerated areas in the oral cavity can be related to a number of different causes.  With your history of having them once or twice a week, a more thorough examination and more information would be recommended.
