Bleach-like taste?: Why do you have a bleach-like taste? Tooth brushing cleans all your teeth surfaces except in between your teeth. Floss cleans those areas best. See your dentist for a one on one clinical exam to answer your questions best. We can only guess as to what is going on in your mouth.

Yes: Regular brushing and flossing as well as professional cleaning at the dentist's office every six months is needed to maintain a good oral hygiene. However you need to have a thorough exam to find out why you have a bad taste in you mouth. You might have cavities and or periodontal( gum) disease.
