Have you had a colonoscopy in the last five years? Even with a factor V deficiency, everyone should have colon screening at age 50. See your doctor to look into this. Do not delay. Good luck.

Balance  hormones: There is a balance between the hormones from your thyroid (free T4 and t3), adrenal gland  (cortisol)  and your sex hormones (estrogen: e1, e2, e3, progesterone, testosterone). I would check all of your hormone levels and replace those which are low with bio-identical hormones. You will be able to loose weight easier when you are in balance.

Focus more on health and lab results than the number on the scale. Walking can be a great benefit also. You can do it.  Please see your doc first.  Spot reducing doesn't work.  Some fine low carb effective.
