Yes—if sterilized :  You can pasteurize  water by boiling it for 10 minutes. Bottled water should be sterile.  Added 
water is no danger to successful breast-feeding.

No cold formulas: I would advise to give at least room temperature formulas to your baby .Newborns have a hard time conserving heat and lose heat very easily .

Not good idea: I am assuming your infant is a little fussy and has jaundice and is less than 10 days old. I looked up gripe water and do not believe that there is any evidence in medicine that it is effective& safe. Look up this site: http://www.Ehow.Com/info_8291553_problems-gripe-water.Html  if your infant is too fussy-then your infant may need to be evaluated by a pediatrician who is also managing the jaundic.

Just breast feed: For mild diarrhea breast-feeding is best. Water lax nutrients and electrolytes.

Should be fine: The materials in gripe water appear to be safe. It is likely to do no harm but i find it unlikely to do any good either.

Not useful: It's OK to give some water, but it probably is not going to be helpful. A 3 week old may go several days without a BM and still has a normal BM and has no problem with it. If he does get fussy and seem to have problem, pushing out hard BM's, then contact his doctor for recommendations. Pediatricians deal with this a lot, so follow his/her advice.

Water: There is no problem with using a limited amount of water to help with a bowel movement. Using more than an oz may cause electrolyte imbalance. Any uncontaminated source of water is fine. I hope this helps her constipation.

Any amount : Telament drops can be given with feeds the quantity of which is of no material importance. As long as the baby gets the intended dose , the amount of the vehicle doesn’t matter

Yes,but: For breast or bottle fed babies there is no need for additional water for a balanced nutrition.If it pleases you to offer it and baby finds the practice entertaining, i see no reason not to.
