Clusters also: Topamax (topiramate) can also be used to treat cluster headaches.   As with any medication side effects are possible.  The most common side effects fortopamax  are numbness & tingling,  fatigue, taste change, weight loss, difficutly with concentration/memory.  This if course, is not a complete list.   Check the insert that came with your rx for complete list of side effects.  Elevated BP is not one of them.

Absolutely-few thing: Beside treating hypertension, Minipress (prazosin) is also used to treat benign prostate hypertrophy, raynaud phenomenon (off-label), postraumatic-stress related nightmare/sleep disruptions etc..It works pretty quickly. This med has been around for quite sometime now--it is relatively cheap and can be quite effective for some. Any problem, consult doc. Good luck.

If the blood pressure is staggeringly high - a diastolic over 160 for instance, the vision might fade.  Most of the changes related to elevated BP can be seen in the eye by your ophthalmologist.  A complication of too high pressure is strokes and these can cause many eye problems.
