Not HSV1 any more?: After an illness this long, the HSV1 infection may no longer be the main cause of your symptoms, especially if the genital blisters, rash, or inflamed lymph nodes (if you had them) have improved. Maybe now an allergic reaction, maybe due to Valtrex? Probably nothing to do w/ your past cancer. Check back ASAP with the doctor or clinic treating you. Good luck!

6 wks after protected oral/vag w/ a sw, my igg hsv1 came back equivocal at 0.90! at 5 wks and prior, i was hsv1 negative. could the igg be wrong? could this result be caused by something else? early sign of genital hsv1? risk of passing to my wife?

MostAdults have HSV1: An equivocal result doesn't have much meaning by itself. If a patient should be positive, then an equivocal result can be looked upon as positive. If a patient should be negative, then an equivocal result can be looked upon as negative. If needing to get an unequivocal result, one can retest at a date when UNequivocalness is most likely to happen. If wife already has HSV1, she won't catch it anew.

if i have contracted herpes from oral sex(hsv1) on my genitals, will it be better managable than hsv2 or it will cause the same outbrakes?

Genital HSV-1: Is generally less bothersome than hsv-2.   You can always get on an antiviral such as valacyclover to reduce number and duration of outbreaks as well as decreasing the risk of spreading it.  Over time the outbreak frequency should decrease.  Good luck.

Yes : Typically HSV2 is found in the genital area and HSV1 is found in the oral area but both can be found in either location. However, herpes is not typically painless. You should see your doctor for a diagnosis

my bf gave me hsv1 orally onto my vagina. seeing as tho he already has this virus in his system can it cause him 2 get herpes on his genital area too?

Unlikely.: It is generally thought that getting herpes a second time is much harder than getting it the first time. Studies have shown that a person with oral herpes can catch a new case of genital herpes. Other studies have shown that this is rare - but it is possible. Your BF should wear condoms, and you should both be treated with an oral antiviral (Valtrex (valacyclovir) or Famvir).

No.: Usually don't. 
Genital herpes is caused by hsv-2, a different type of hsv. 
But  there is a small chance that oral herpes can cause genital herpes(10~20% of genital herpes would be caused by hsv-1), and symptoms and signs would be far less severe. No, it's unlikely that it would cause flu-like symptoms.

: No genital HPV types are likely to do this, only the non sexually transmitted types that cause hand and foot warts, especially HPV type 1. None of these three viruses is a likely cause of foot and leg pain. Most HPV infections are cleared by the immune system over time. It is unlikely you have an active CMV infection just because you have a positive blood test:  discuss with your doctor.

The answer is, Yes!: HSV is contagious to your sex partner, so you both need a course of antibiotics which may eliminate this infection. Groin nodes can enlarge due to infection or inflammation in and around your genitalia.

Possibly: If you have oral genital sex, then yes. Typically, hsv 2 has been associated with genital herpes. But, with the increase in oral genital sex, there has been crossover with hsv 1 causing genital herpes.

Highly likely: Very likely with sexual contact- you will transmit hsv1 genital to your partner.
