It can be chronic or binge in nature and can take weeks or years to develop this pattern.   Some say its a bad habit (Rational Recovery) while others say its a disease (Alcoholics Anonymous).   Go to a psychologist or perhaps an AA meeting for more information.

Mrsa: Mrsa stands for methicillin-resistant staphylococcal aureas.  These bacteria became resistant to antibiotics by overuse of antibiotics.  One person did not develop the first case of mrsa but it evolved from several sources with this over usage in general.

The Tdap shot protects him from Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis (whooping cough). If a wound is deeper or contaminated, a doctor may choose to give a tetanus booster if the patient has not had a tetanus booster in the last 5 years.

Exceptionally rare.: 99.9% of the time, inflammation of the appendix will lead to rupture within 2-4 days if left untreated.  "chronic" appendicitis represents the very rare patient whose appendicitis resolves without treatment, only to recur at a later time.  Nevertheless, if i were to evaluate someone with chronic abdominal pain, this would be very low on my "differential diagnosis".

Other times these cells are prevented from harming us because "suppressor" cells keep them under control and inactive. The loss of this immune control can cause an auto-immune disease, why this occurs is unknown.
