Inversion table: Not unusual for mild increase in lbp. Only be on for 5min max. Due up to 5 times a day. Initially may want to do one minute upside down, one minute level alternating until 5 minutes upside down total. Give it a few days. Should be noticing a difference if due to nerve root compression or discogenic pain.

Yes: Inversion table, lumbar stretch machines and yoga may relieve pain and inflammation "healing" the problem.  The actual disk herniation does not usually pushed back in but removed by the body over several months.  Other treatments include anti-inflammatories, physical therapy, steroid injections and endoscopic spine surgery (removed through a camera in a pen sized tube with little instruments).

It will not.: There are back conditions, such as spondylolisthesis that can be problematic, but for regular  DJD of the lumbar discs, it will not reduce disc height more! who gave you that impression? They are incorrect!

See below: The table can provide symptomatic relief.  This is the pro.  The con is that is may lead to a stroke due to increase blood flow to the head.

Better not: Would affect your eye pressure and retinal problems, ask your ophthalmologist too, best wishes
