had urq ultrasound today.findings were 3 gallbladder polyps 3 mm.a liver hemangioma and kidney stone.drs not worried.should i be ?

Shouldn't worry: If you are asymptomatic, there's no need for concern. Polyps can be followed, hemangiomas are benign. Unless the kidney stone becomes symptomatic, that too can befollowed.

Bloody urine: Bloody urine with no other symptoms needs a more detail exam. See your pcp.

Panic: not guilty: Anxiety/panic is a usual suspect in so many symptoms - this is rare. Low potassium may have been a factor in the stones. If you take laxatives, diuretics, asthma meds,  insulin, some antibiotics, vomit alot, etc - it can lower K. Eat lots of dark green leafy vegetables. The best source. It can raise your potassium, if you eat lots of them. Best!

Kidney injury: Fortunately, a kidney needs to be completely obstructed for a prolonged time (ie. 1 month) before any permanent damage occurs. However, frequent stone passage may increase risks of infection and scar tissue formation within the ureter.

Can increase risk: High protein and low carb diets have been shown to increase kidney acid load, thereby increasing kidney stone risk.

This diet can also increase calcium in the urine.

Increased animal protein increases kidney excretion of oxalate, a chemical that combines with calcium to make one type of kidney stone.

Kidney Stones: •	Vegetables highest in oxalate and lowest in calcium a pose the highest potential risk: beat greens, rhubarb, chard, tea.
•	If oxalate and calcium levels in a food are balanced, they stay in the gut and do not reach the kidneys.
•	Dehydration, excessive vitamin C, and excess Salt contribute to kidney stones.
•	High protein, meat-rich diets are associated with more kidney stones

can taking high doses of vitamin d3, 5000 iu's daily for two years straight cause me to have multiple tiny kidney stones in both kidneys?

Maybe: This dose is well above what you'd need to prevent the deficiency in this vitamin that is so common nowadays, but is not outrageously high. Kidney stones are a hazard in extreme vitamin d oversupplementation but this dose is considered safe. You'd do well to take a look at all your risk factors -- genetic tendency to absorb calcium, fluid intake, composition of any stones you passed.

i have kidney stones in both kidneys. could this cause both my white and red cell counts to be elevated?

Kidney stones: You could see a rise in WBC's with kidney stones but not RBC's.  See your doctor.
