Cam pill: Capsule endoscopy takes thousands of pictures of your intestinal tract  It is used to survey the small intestine primarily as upper and lower endoscopy don't visualize the small intestine. The capsule camera can detect Crohn's disease and tumors of the small intestine. Stomach cancer is better diagnosed by scoping which also allows biopsies to be taken The same applies to colon cancer.

my chest ct stated that " beneath the imaged abdomen, no significant abnormalities seen." what does it mean? can it rule out stomach cancer?

Negative: Based only on the sentence you cited, it sounds like they did not see anything abnormal. Disclaimers: 1. No scan is perfect. 2. We are not seeing the whole report. 3. We do not know why your doc ordered it (is it because of your lymph nodes?). Your doc has to interpret this in context, talk to him/her. If you have GI symptoms, you may need an endoscopy. That is the best way to diagnose gastric CA.

low stomach pain possibly bowel  issues! i have ibs. dr couldn't do colonoscopy due to a narrowing so i had barium enama instead. no cancer so nothing?

Maybe diverticulosis: If they were unable to get through for a colonoscopy, it could be diverticular disease (this should have been in your barium enema report if true, so ask you doctor.
If so, that can cause discomfort. So can constipation, which may be related to the narrowing. Increase fiber and fluids. Acacia fiber is better tolerated in ibs than other fibers, can be ordered online if not available near you.

i get stomach aches top of my stomach. usually after i eat at night. colonoscopy and endoscopy were all ok. i had it during the summer. it was during covid time in the summer. i had bloody stools then could it be cancer? back hurts sometimes?

: colonoscopy and endoscopy are not the only investigations for your symptoms. Further tests need to be done and in the meantime ask your MD to give you treatment for your symptoms

: No, very less likely with the negative work-up; however in medicine, we never say 100%. Your symptom is likely due to reflux, are you taking PPI drug for the acid? Besides med, you need antireflux measures: eat slowly and do not over eat, avoid any food or drink which exacerbate the symptoms, do not lie down within 2 hours after meal and if possible, raise the head of your bed with 2 bricks.

Get the colonoscopy: Your WBC count and neutrophil count are slightly high, lymphocyte percentage is slightly low. Most of the time, such numbers are associated with an infectious process. In all likelihood, there is no association between such blood count numbers and colon cancer. The colonoscopy is a part of your workup for stomach pain and is the best way to determine if it's due to colon cancer.

Not very common: Stomach or gastric cancers have decreased in the US since the 1940's. There are some stomach cancers however associated with H. pylori stomach infections. Smoked foods, excess alcohol intake, and cigarette smoking may be associated with stomach cancer. It is more common in other countries than the US.
