: Oral combination birth control pills are contraindicated in persons who have migraine with aura because of increased risk for strokes regardless of blood pressure or other risk factors.

No: The bleeding and shortness of breath are not due to migraine, and you possess a co-morbidity or a second independent problem.

Please repost: and include what TYPE of "seizure activity." If you don't know, ask. "Seizure activity" is like "car trouble"; it can mean lots of different things. Part of your epilepsy education &amp; thus taking control of your epilepsy is to learn your EXACT SEIZURE TYPE according to the latest classification system, as near as your neurologist can peg it, &amp; how it manifests in YOUR case. Knowledge is power.

migraine aura attacks may cause lack of blood in parts of the brain,making a person more vulnerable to stroke.so would it be beneficial to keep moving with an aura to keep the blood moving from constriction of the vessels in the head to avoid clots?

No: The risk of a stroke from migraine is very small but moving around would not alter it.  However aura is not the factor which promotes a stroke as far as I know.

can you get  electrolyte disturbances ie low blood calcium and/or high blood potassium level while taking magnesium citrate 50mg 3x day migraine aura?

Mag citrate: This supplement is too low of a dose to cause changes in blood calcium or potassium. Also your body has independent mechanism to regulate these electrolytes. You kidney regulate potassium levels and your body regulates calcium levels via PTH levels which affect intestional aborption, bone resorption and intestinal absortion. Mag Citrate should not alter this.

i have been getting a migraine aura with. no headache.about every other day over christmas,after i feel fine and just get on with my day.aspirin help?

Aura: Migraine aura caused by vasospasm can be a forerunner of an ischemic stroke. Have you a longsanding history of this?  Either way, I advise an evaluation by a neurologist or a headache clinic to ensure that you get appropriate diagnosis and treatment and interrupt this pattern of symptoms. I don't think aspirin helps to prevent the aura but may be a protection against ischemic stroke.

my b2 might be low from my diet and might be good to take a supplement of b complex including b2 at 2.5mg which may help reduce migraine aura .nhs in uk say 40mg is safe max.but i see reports of 400mg a day for migraine may reduce aura ,is this safe?

Maybe : First, if you do have true classical migraine, you will experience intermittent and infrequent auras.  To stay safe and avoid potential stroke, you should NEVER smoke, or take birth control pills.  Likely, a visit to a neurologist could affirm diagnosis and guide future treatments.

You can't: The migraine aura is a neurosensory disturbance that includes a series of idiopathic, neurologic symptoms that develop gradually over a 5-20 minute period and last less than an hour. An aura that lasts more than 60 minutes may be indicative of serious pathology. The onset of the actual migraine headache usually occurs within 60 minutes after the aura abates. 
Idiopathic = we don't know why or how.
